Why can’t I play MP4 files on my Sony Xperia 5 V?

Came upon incompatibility problems playing MP4 videos on Sony Xperia 5 V? Due to codec issues, some MP4 files will not play on Sony Xperia 5 V. To be able to play these MP4 files, you will need to convert them first.
